Sangiovese
Located in the heart of Chianti, producing its wines for 350 years, and certified organic – its safe to say Il Molino Di Grace (Windmill of Grace) knows how to make a good bottle of Sangiovese. For producers to obtain the coveted “Gran Selezione” labeling, a wine must be aged for at least 30 months before release, and Il Margone sees over have of that regimen in a combination of new & old wood. All that said, expect a supremely sophisticated, matured expression of the Sangiovese varietal that resoundingly echoes layers of potpourri, fennel, roast herb, coffee bean, balsamic, and old leather, in addition to a palate that delivers wonderfully grippy, yet beautifully refined, tannins.
