100% Gamay. Again, amazing juice from the great 2015 vintage in France. From a family vineyard and winery which farms organically and makes wine naturally. I suggest approaching Gamay as a full bodied Pinot Noir. If you are dining at a fancy restaurant with a big, old world, wine list, I dare you to choose a Beaujolais — reason? value, wide food pairing versatility, and value.
RECOMMENDED FOOD PAIRING: Pairs similarly to Pinot Noir: Mushrooms, Salmon, pasta, charcuterie, Brie (very versatile.)
