Description
Barbera is the hardy staple grape of the famous Piedmont region in Northern Italy. Barbera planted in the hills surrounding the famous city of Alba (do visit during the truffle festival) is called Barbera d’Alba and usually has a more powerful and concentrated personality compared to Barbera d’Asti. This is an easy drinker that pairs with chicken, pizza, and just about any other savory dish.
