Join us Wednesday, May 9, for a delicious pairing of Spanish wines from Torres served with amazing Ibérico Jamón (ham.) In the lab will be winemaker Xavier Rubires from Torres pouring five wines. Familia Torres is regularly ranked as one of the most admired wine producers in Spain. Ibérico jamón is loved globally and considered one of the highest expressions of cured meat. The pigs used to make Iberico roam free and feed naturally on grass, herbs, acorns, and roots, until near the end their diet is limited to olives or acorns. This produces a unique, intensely flavored, ham that must be tasted (and pairs perfectly with the wines we are pouring!)
Tasting includes 5 wines plus a plate with Ibérico ham, Manchego cheese, and freshly baked bread.
